Thank you for visiting my website!

I am currently a PhD Candidate at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and an active CPA, CA (Canada). I earned my Master's degree in Finance at Queen's University in 2015. Before entering academia, I was an auditor at Deloitte's Assurance & Advisory group in Toronto, Ontario. Growing up in three different countries and working across four continents, I have gained invaluable diverse and cultural experiences.

My research interests span two broad areas. The first area is in financial accounting, where I study financial markets frictions as they apply to accounting questions. The second area is in managerial accounting, where I study labor contracting.

Given my professional background, I am also keenly interested in audit and information systems related research. I look forward to working with colleagues on research questions that have a real-world lean to them, i.e., research that studies real effects of regulations or research that can inform capital markets stakeholders in making better decisions.

I am also excited to have a role as an educator. Having taught financial accounting and having professional assurance & advisory services experience, I am equipped to teach in any area of accounting.

I am currently on the market looking for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor. You can contact me at any time via email.
